I’m thinking about how we can balance Dazzle’s ultimate. Currently, when he uses it, his hero receives a huge bonus making him take 30% less incoming damage. I’m considering a couple of potential nerfs: first, maybe we could make his ultimate unable to allow him to use blink—I know removing item usage might be too heavy-handed, but it just feels broken. Another thought is to enhance the visibility of his link; it’s really hard to see at night with everything going on, and switching colors based on day/night could help a lot!

Let’s just face it—removing the hex from that Poison Touch projection would be a good start. It feels unnecessary to have it stacked on top of everything.
I reckon allowing stuns to cancel Dazzle’s ultimate would really change the game. Right now, it’s hard to counter as it breaks a lot of standard rules. The main counters seem to be either stopping him before he casts or just running away. Increasing the cooldown might be a good move too, since it seems too strong compared to other big abilities, but its cooldown feels like it should be longer for such power.
Yeah, making channeling a factor could weaken him a bit. But you’re right—there’s not enough counterplay in place right now. Maybe we could make Dazzle more vulnerable while using his ulti instead.
What about making Dazzle’s body and soul interconnected? Like, if his soul gets stunned or silenced, it could affect the body too. It could open up some new strategies to finally deal with him.
I think the idea of making the soulless body decay over time is interesting. If you stay out too long, there should be consequences like dying.
I believe that blink does allow him to move out of range, but then he’ll gradually get pulled back. It’s kinda like Windranger’s Gale Wind, where he can jump a long way if he has an Octarine built up.
Exactly! I think if he’s able to blink that far, it could definitely be fun but also a bit over the top.
And honestly, can we just make the ethereal clone behave like the actual hero while Dazzle himself becomes an illusion? After playing over 400 games with him, it’s so frustrating to lose control of him when I hit space to recenter!
What if we could target the soul directly? Any damage done to it could be partially transferred to the body, kind of similar to Lone Druid’s mechanic. If the soul dies, the body could take a decent damage hit as well.
For sure! They took away that nice Shard power which is why it’s so frustrating.
