I have just completed the challenge to fight the troll and a bunch of spiders in the cave. The quest objective is telling me to search for the triptych segment. I seem to be stuck in this cave, I don’t see any way to get out of here. How do I progress?

Use the revelio spell to shed some light on what you are missing. The large bridge part that fell down at the start of the encounter can be fixed using the repair spell. It’s the first time something so large needs to be repaired so it’d an easy one to miss. Simply find the rubble that is highlighted blue and repair it.
