Hey everyone, I’m relatively new to Warframe (I’m currently MR4) and I’m finding the game to be quite a challenge, especially as a beginner. I’m trying to dive into the main story quests since grinding planetary nodes is becoming pretty monotonous. However, I keep dying a lot, particularly in the Cambion Drift, which forces me to step back and level up more. The problem is, the only activities available to someone at my level seem to be either too high level or those repetitive planet node missions that are all about 3 minutes long with no variety. Am I just not cut out for this game, or is the design lacking?

Honestly, if you get bored of repetitive activities easily, this might not be the game for you. Warframe focuses more on the different goals you can pursue rather than the variety of missions themselves. You’ll find that the fun comes from the many different ways you can achieve those goals, despite a lot of similar mission types.
Just try to have fun with your gameplay! Build weapons you enjoy, tackle Nightwave challenges for rewards, or check out Baro Ki’Teer on weekends for cool items. Set personal objectives to add excitement to your gaming session. Warframe is about exploring and discovering your own path!
It’s true that while missions often involve similar shooting mechanics, there are various objectives to complete. Leveling your Warframe and weapons doesn’t automatically boost their stats—the mods you equip are what really make the difference. What are you currently using for your loadout?
Make sure you’re utilizing mods! Many of them can be obtained from regular missions, bounties, and quests. Your weapon’s performance relies heavily on the mods you attach to them, so experiment with different combinations to see what works best for your playstyle.
You don’t need to clear every planet node before moving on; it could take several missions just to get to the next planet. Prioritize your progression, and you’ll find it flows better. Clearing nodes can unlock other content later, so don’t stress too much about every single one!
