I’m playing CS2 on Pop!_OS, and I’m really disappointed with the performance compared to when I used Windows. Vulkan is being forced, and that’s causing significant frame drops. I really want to avoid going back to Windows again. Is there any way to improve the performance? My setup includes a 2060 GPU and an i9-9700 CPU.

The Vulkan performance in CS2 is just lackluster. On similar hardware, I’ve found that FPS in Windows with Vulkan is comparable to Linux. I tried using Wayland, which gave me a bit of a boost in frame pacing, but it broke the in-game browser for me.
