Hey there! I’m dealing with some frustrating low FPS issues while gaming, and I’m starting to think it might have something to do with my RAM or other hardware. Here’s a bit of background on my setup:
– **CPU:** Intel 8400k
– **GPU:** GTX 1060 6GB
– **RAM:** 8GB DDR4 2666 MHz
– **Motherboard:** H310 Pro-M2 (MS-7B28)
– **OS:** Windows 11 Home
– This is part of a pre-built H310 gaming rig.
I’ve already tried a few things to improve the situation, like updating all my drivers and booting in safe mode to troubleshoot. I’ve also closed unnecessary background apps and disabled startup programs, but nothing seems to help.
I’m pretty unsure whether it’s a RAM issue, a hardware malfunction, or maybe something software-related. If anyone has advice on what I might check or other solutions I can try, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks a lot!

Hey! To help you better, could you specify which games you’re playing and what your gaming resolution is? The FPS issues can vary massively depending on those factors!
Here’s an image of my settings to give you a better idea:
Looking at your specs, it seems like you might be trying to push high settings on newer games with hardware that may not keep up. Upgrading your RAM could definitely help if you’re running many processes at once, but you may also want to consider a GPU upgrade for better performance overall. Good luck!
I think I might have figured it out, but I only speak Swedish. Hope you can still understand my question!
