I’ve managed to get a Kuva Archgun weapon with a 27% bonus, and after a bit of farming, I found another one with a 25% bonus. I was super excited, thinking 27 + 25 equals 52, so I’m almost at that elusive 60%! But then it hit me hard — valence fusion isn’t additive at all. Now I’m really bummed out because it looks like getting my Grattler to 60% will take a mountain of RNG luck. Can I actually buy Kuva weapons and use them for valence fusion? Any advice on whether it’s even worth grinding for the Grattler to hit that 60%?

Unfortunately, that’s just the way Kuva weapons function. Your best bet is to farm as many of the same weapon as you can to max out its bonus. Hang in there, it’s a grind, but you’ll get there!
Totally feel you on the RNG disappointment! It seems like the odds are stacked against us when it comes to getting useful bonuses. Just keep grinding, and who knows — you might strike gold eventually!
I’ve been through the grind too! My Kuva Ogris is sitting at 34.2% after working on it for a while. Just keep at it!

A tip: don’t waste your time fusing low numbers. Make sure to wait for at least a 40% bonus before starting your fusions. It makes a huge difference! If you stack a bunch of low bonuses first, you’ll need several fusions to improve your weapon, but having just one solid high bonus to start will lead to better results.
Honestly, the valence fusion system feels pretty harsh. The luck required to get a high bonus can be tough. I remember rolling for my 60% Kuva Nukor and it was such a grind. You’d think they’d make fusion additive for how much effort it takes to get just one weapon!
