Hey everyone! I’m looking to kick off my YouTube channel but I’m hitting a wall with recording limitations. When I try to record at 1080p, I can only get up to 4 minutes of footage, and at 720p, I’m capped at just 10 minutes. Are there any ways to increase these recording limits, or any workarounds?

Until you can grab the right gear, recording with your phone is what I do. It’s not glamorous, but it gets the job done until I can save up for better equipment. Make it work with what you’ve got for now!
You might want to invest in a capture card. The console alone doesn’t really handle long sessions well, so if you pair it with a computer, you can edit your gameplay more effectively. Another option is streaming on Twitch and saving your streams, but keep in mind that the video quality might take a hit with that method.
Honestly, recording with Xbox can be pretty frustrating. What I used to do is record 10 minutes at a time and then edit those clips together. I’d download them through the Xbox app to my phone and do voiceovers with my phone propped up. It’s not the best solution, but it worked for me! If you really want longer recordings, you should look into getting a capture card and a laptop.
Yeah, sounds like a solid plan! Thanks for the tips!
