I’m having a tough time with EN06. This is my current setup (check out my gear here: https://imgur.com/a/HvJAz43), but I’m just not doing enough damage before he wipes me out. If anyone has tips or strategies to help improve my chances, I’d really appreciate it!

After the changes to melee perks, my go-to has been a combo of Enforcer and One Gun Army with a furious or crippling Pepper Shaker. That setup helps melt through the shield quickly, especially if you have someone else with you. Alone, expect to go through all three phases, but with a buddy, it’s much easier!
I managed to solo him before the patch in just under a minute, but now it can take over twice as long, even with a buddy doing ranged attacks. If you need practice, let me know! I’m on Xbox, and I’d be happy to help you get better gear and mods!
If you’re solo, I highly recommend using an auto axe or shredder to take down his health fast. It’s usually the safest option to finish him off before he unleashes the blast doors. Also, going ghoul can significantly improve your survival chances here!
Do you have your heavy gunner cards maxed out? I’d recommend equipping a 3-star Incisor and adding some extra cards like Bullet Shield and Stabilized. If your armor isn’t great, try switching to Troubleshooters gear; it really helped me stay alive. Also, using a swift core instead of stinging cuts AP costs and pairs well with VATS.
Overeater gear alone isn’t enough for EN06. You’ll need a full set of Troubleshooters. Use a heavy gun with Vampires or limb damage while targeting your enemies. It sounds like your current weapons aren’t getting you through fast enough before the doors shut. You might want to rethink your strategy; maybe use a Holy Fire gun along with a fierce auto axe combo to take him down quickly.
I realized I used the wrong .50 cal—got one with Vamp and was attacking the shield, then switched to Plasma for damage. I got him down to 20% health, but his damage output takes me out before the third blast door.
Are you tackling this boss solo? Make sure you’re not just stacking Overeater’s armor. Use food buffs like pemican to boost your endurance and health. Don’t forget to spam stimpacks—try using the better ones like super stims too! There’s also an INT card that boosts stim healing significantly, which can make a huge difference.
