I’m trying to figure out whether I should go solo or stick with squads for those 5 research chances with Netracels. If soloing is the way to go, I’m up for giving it a shot, but speed is definitely my priority. So far, I’ve had the best success with Nova and Titania in squad runs. I’ve attempted soloing with Gyre, and even with Rolling Guard and some damage reduction builds, I find her too delicate to survive mistakes. What’s your fastest strategy and loadout that doesn’t include kuva or tenet weapons?

For solo runs, I like using Protea with her turret augment—just set and forget! Mesa with the Secondary Fortifier is great for survivability too. Gyre’s got options with Sickening Pulse or Pillage if you want some extra armor. You could also try tankier frames like Revenant or Inaros alongside any AOE weapons like the Boar or Miter, which can really help clear things out.
I usually play solo with Qorvex for quick runs or Ivara if I’m feeling a bit cautious. Both usually take around 7-10 minutes to finish, though Ivara might take an extra minute due to needing to cycle through keyglyphs. Gyre can work fine too; just go with Pillage for added survivability—it’s a solid choice!
Volt with a Burston is my go-to setup. If you know the map well, you can skip the first two hack stations and head straight for the third; I get clears in about 6-7 minutes that way. Just a little tip: the tower always spawns near that third station hack!
I’ve always preferred running squads for this. You can split the tasks like searching and ad clearing which makes it more efficient. Unless you’re an absolute pro, I can’t see how soloing would be faster; sometimes folks in squads can slow the run down, especially if they’re not following mission mechanics!
True, but still, I feel like soloing can be quicker if the squad members aren’t syncing up. Lag and distractions can really mess with spawns!
