I’m trying to decide between picking up Silent Hill 2 Remake or Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for PS5 tonight. I’ve been a huge fan of the original Silent Hill 2 and I’m really into survival horror games. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 also looks pretty enticing; I played a few hours of the first one and loved the concept, but the 30 fps on the original held me back a bit. So, I’m wondering if KCD 2 is worth investing in for someone like me, or should I just stick with Silent Hill 2? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If you loved the original Silent Hill 2, I can’t recommend the remake enough! It’s a true classic and feels like a masterpiece in every way. Sure, KCD 2 looks great, but SH2R really captures that survival horror vibe you might be craving.
I’ve played both, and honestly, they’re both fantastic in their own right, scoring like 9 or 10 out of 10. It really comes down to what kind of mood you’re in right now. Want a creepy experience or something more adventure-based?
The Silent Hill 2 Remake is seriously a modern masterpiece! But KCD2 is a solid game too. Just curious, do you prefer shorter games (like around 20 hours) or are you okay with investing your time in longer ones? I’m on my third playthrough of SH2 already!
The SH2 remake is fantastic but also super intense—it’ll definitely keep you on your toes! KCD2 offers a more laid-back experience. I’d say go for SH2R first, and maybe wait for KCD2 to go on sale since it feels a bit pricey right now at $70.
KCD2 is going for $70 like most new games, so that’s pretty standard pricing. Just checking!
Yeah, I don’t have much time to game, so I prefer shorter titles around 20 hours. I did play some of KCD1, and if a game is excellent, I don’t mind spending more time on it, like RDR2 which took me ages but was totally worth it.
