I’ve been having a bit of a struggle with the weekly quests lately. I often dive into delves, tackle some keys, and face off against raid bosses, but I tend to forget to pick up the 100 titan disk fragments quest on my alts. I know it seems obvious to grab it, but I usually opt for something like ‘urge to surge’ instead, which pairs nicely with the ’10 jobs’ quest. And sure, I do the speedy world quests too. But then, when I want to jump into some endgame activities, I completely forget about the titan quest.
It feels frustrating, especially since my alts are missing out on the spark this week because I forgot that specific quest, even after running a normal raid on two of them and finishing 2x delves each plus a key. I feel a bit dumb for not grabbing it, and even though I could catch up tomorrow, it still stings to miss out just because I didn’t pick it up. It seems like such a simple fix; why can’t picking up the weekly quests be automatic? I shouldn’t be punished for forgetting when I’ve completed the content for it!
TL;DR: I’ve done the required content, but forgetting to pick up the quest has me falling behind on sparks. I really think the weekly quest pickups should be automatic for everyone.

Hey, I miss some weekly quests too because I just don’t like them (like the PvP one). I know it’s easy to just delete the quests I don’t want, but forgetting is kind of the point, right? It’s frustrating to feel penalized for not remembering, especially when I often do the necessary content anyway.
Seriously, I feel the same. It shouldn’t be my fault that I can’t remember every single quest to pick up when I’ve done the work to earn it!
I totally get your point! It would make life easier if those quests were a fixed part of our log, similar to the adventurer’s journal for tendies. It’d clear up the quest log too and help prevent these mix-ups from happening.
I see where you’re coming from. There are a few quests that give sparks, so if they all become automatic pickups, it could get messy. It might make sense to keep it player-driven. However, I do agree that having automatic tracking for quests could help a lot, especially since some already do it for certain activities.
Interestingly, Blizzard has started to automatically push some weekly quests to players when they engage in related content. For example, if you zone into a Timewalking dungeon during the week, you get the quest right then and there! So they’re partially already on that path. Maybe they just need to keep expanding this feature!
Honestly, it sounds like part of it comes down to routine. My reset day always starts with picking up weeklies just like I check my vault. If you find yourself needing to catch up, you can knock out those 100 fragments pretty quickly by spamming low-tier delves. It might feel like a hassle, but it’s doable!
For real! Weekly quest pickups should be automatic! If I earn the fragments from gameplay, I should get credit for them without having to remember to pick anything up. It’s just more fun that way!
Let’s be real, isn’t grabbing weekly quests like the first thing you do after checking the vault? They’re super easy to pick up. Just a short stroll from the vault, come on!
Sure, but how about they just automate it completely? Then we wouldn’t need to worry about abandoned quests or forgetting!
