I’m curious if anyone else thinks that Reinhardt’s shield bash should just be a permanent ability rather than something you pick through perks. Unlike most perks that only tweak stats or modify existing abilities, the shield bash is a whole new mechanic that could really spice up his kit. And while we’re at it, what about Zenyatta’s double jump or float? They’re not game-breaking, so why not make them permanent too?

I totally agree with you! Mobile changes can throw off your playstyle, especially for characters like Moira who depend on her fade duration. All these changes can mess with what we’re used to. Maybe they should keep mobility perks on a lower level, so we can have consistency in how we play from the start. It wouldn’t break the game, honestly.
You actually can get shield bash permanently if you pick the right perks, but I get what you’re saying. It would be cool if it was just an innate part of his abilities instead of relying on perks. But aren’t perks still limited in some way?
