Hey folks, I just reached Mr. X in my game and have the Lightning Hawk now, but I’m unsure if I should use it against Lickers. Is it effective, or is the shotgun a better choice? Also, what situations is the Lightning Hawk best suited for? Just a heads up, I’m playing on normal difficulty and would prefer no spoilers. Thanks!

Honestly, I’d hold onto the Lightning Hawk for tougher enemies later on. It’s a magnum, so the ammo is pretty rare and you want to save it for when you really need it. You can usually sneak past Lickers without a fight if you’re careful! But hey, if you’re curious, why not make a save and test it out? Just remember, if you find yourself cornered with a Licker, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!
I get what you mean about Lickers being tricky, especially once Mr. X is on your tail. But in a pinch, the Lightning Hawk can be a lifesaver if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just keep in mind, ammo for it is tight, so maybe reserve it for when you really need to clear the path fast!
