Hey everyone! I have an older gaming PC with an MSI H91M motherboard, an Intel i7 4770K, 16GB of RAM, and a GTX 1660 Ti. Right now, I’m using Windows 10, but I’ve read that there are workarounds to upgrade to Windows 11 even though my system doesn’t meet the official requirements. My main concerns are whether upgrading is worth it, if it could negatively affect my system performance, and whether my games will still run smoothly on Windows 11. I’m also worried about not being supported once Windows 10 reaches its end-of-life, but right now, I can’t afford any major upgrades. What do you guys think?

It’s a good question! Honestly, workarounds for installing Windows 11 can be risky. Some people have run into issues later on, and if your hardware is out of spec, you might face stability problems. I’d suggest sticking with Windows 10 for now and only upgrading when absolutely necessary. If you want a longer-term solution, consider getting a Windows 10 LTSC license or even switching to Linux if you’re feeling adventurous!
Thanks for your insights! I’m hesitant about Linux due to the hassle of reinstalling everything, but I’ll think about it. Appreciate the advice!
