Should I Upgrade My GPU or Get an OLED Display?

I’m feeling super excited about tech again thanks to all the new GPU talk lately! I used to upgrade my hardware every year without fail, but I’ve slowed down. Right now, I’ve got a 7800xt paired with a 1440p 165Hz IPS display. I’m contemplating whether I should upgrade to a newer GPU for more FPS or invest in an OLED 1440p display instead. What do you all think?

Honestly, go for the OLED. If you’re always chasing the latest GPU, you’ll end up in an endless cycle. A good monitor can stick with you for years and improve your overall experience!

It really depends on whether you’re getting good frame rates in the games you play. If that’s solid, then the OLED is definitely the way to go!

If your current GPU is performing well, splurge on the OLED. The visual quality is on another level, especially for darker games. But if you’re struggling with performance or there’s a new game coming out that you’re excited about, then consider the GPU upgrade. The 7800xt is still pretty powerful, though!
