I’m currently gaming with a Ryzen 5 7600X and a Sapphire Pulse 6700XT. I’ve been considering an upgrade to enhance my experience in story-driven games, and, you know, just to stay current. I’m willing to spend around $500 and have been eyeing the 7800XT or the 4070. Do you think an upgrade is worth it, or should I hold off for something better down the road? I’ve got a 4070 Super paired with a 7600, and I can max out most games, like Cyberpunk (with a few tweaks to intense settings), and it feels worth it. If you’re keen on an upgrade, consider going for something priced around $600 if you can stretch your budget just a bit.
For $500, you might not see a huge difference upgrading right now. It could be better to hold onto your cash and wait till you can spring for a bigger jump. That way, you’ll really feel the improvement when you do decide to upgrade.
