I’ve been using my 3070 Ti with water cooling, but it’s still struggling to handle intense game scenes, especially in Path of Exile 2. The fan noise is really getting on my nerves! I held off on upgrading during the last generation, but now I’m torn. The new generation cards seem even pricier, but they’re also more powerful, which seems like it could extend their lifespan a few years. I’ve heard that the 5070 Ti might perform similarly to the 4080, and if that’s true, I’d love to grab an OLED panel and experience gaming in beautiful 4K. The only downside is that the panel will set me back around $1k. Is it worth it to make the jump to the 5070 Ti now, or should I just hold off until summer?

Honestly, I think waiting is your best option right now. Spending over $1000 on the 5070 Ti feels a bit steep, especially since it’s already an expensive card. If money isn’t an issue, then sure, go for it. But if you’ve got a budget to consider, maybe just hold off for now.
But if we can grab it around MSRP, like under $900, would it then be a decent buy?
