I’m in a bit of a dilemma. A friend of mine wants to buy my 4090, and I’ve got opportunities to snag a new 5090. First off, what do you think is a fair used price to sell my 4090 to him? Second, do you think it’s worth spending a little extra cash to get the 5090? Thanks for your input!

I’d say help your buddy out with a decent price for your 4090 and grab that 5090! Imagine gaming together with top-tier settings for the next few years!
1. Check the current market for a used 4090; maybe knock off about 10% if you’re feeling generous.
2. Only you can really know if the 5090 is worth it for you. If you need an upgrade, you’ll know! If you’re unsure, it might not be necessary.
Honestly, it’s a personal choice. Think about if the cash you lose by selling your 4090 is worth the boost you’ll get from the 5090 in terms of performance or features.
I went for the upgrade, and man, it gave me about 30 more FPS across the board! If you play games where that performance difference matters, then yes, it’s totally worth it. I sold mine to a friend for around $1900.
1900? When did you sell yours?
