I’ve got a bit of a dilemma. I left my physical copy of Mortal Kombat 1 with a family member and, because we’re not on speaking terms, I’m pretty much saying goodbye to it. Now I’m eyeing a sale on Black Ops 6 for $52.10 while a new MK1 would cost me about $50. I love having physical copies for games I really enjoy, so I’m torn. Should I just buy MK1 again or dive into something fresh like BO6?

Personally, I’d choose Mortal Kombat 1. I’m more into fighting games, and MK1 is fun if you enjoy that genre. I get what people say about it being just okay, but as a fighter fan, it’s got its charm. If you’re replacing a beloved physical copy, it might be worth it!
Honestly, I’d go with Black Ops 6. It offers more variety with modes like campaign, multiplayer, and zombies, so you get more bang for your buck. Plus, it’s great to jump into when you’ve got some time to kill. Just remember, it requires an internet connection to even access single-player stuff.
Yeah, but the internet dependency is a bit of a drag, especially if you prefer offline gaming. Something to keep in mind!
Both options have their pros and cons, but to be honest, I might not pick either if it were my choice. MK’s a blast if you love the fighting scene, while BO6 has more content. It really boils down to what type of gameplay you’re into!
But there’s so much more to do in BO6. Fighters can get repetitive quick, IMHO!
