I’m a big fan of the Fallout and Metro series. I just heard about Atomfall and it seems to have a vibe that I might enjoy. However, I’m not sure if it’s actually worth my time. What do you guys think?

Atomfall is more reminiscent of the STALKER series than Fallout. The mid-century aesthetic is similar, but it doesn’t really fit the typical post-apocalyptic mold. If you’re into ambient world details and exploration, you might find it enjoyable!
That’s good to hear! I love wandering in those kinds of worlds.
I’m about 12 hours in and really enjoying it! The details in the world are awesome, and I’ve found myself just wandering around soaking it all in. I think I’ll hit about 20 hours total, and I can see myself replaying it. Gave it an 8.5/10!
Just finished it and had a blast! It’s definitely not Fallout but offers its own unique experience. Quick tip: Game Pass can be a great way to try it without committing to the price if you’re unsure.
Honestly, comparing it to Fallout is a bit off. They only really share the nuclear disaster theme. Despite its flaws, Atomfall is a fun experience overall. I’d say it’s worth checking out!
Most comparisons seem to lean towards Fallout: New Vegas thanks to its faction-based storytelling.
If you like exploration and immersive worlds, you might enjoy Atomfall. It’s not as long as Fallout, but it’s got solid combat and interactable NPCs. You can even go full chaos by eliminating NPCs if that’s your style!
I’m a big STALKER fan too! This one sounds right up my alley.
