I’m a proud owner of a PS5 and I’m trying to decide whether to buy the PS4 digital version of Ghost of Tsushima, which is priced at ₹1700, or go for the PS5 version that’s available for ₹2499. I heard there’s a free digital upgrade for the game, but I want to make sure I’m making the right choice. Any thoughts?

If you’re not worried about collecting games and just want to play, maybe consider PS Plus. It could save you money especially if you find games on sale—plus you mentioned you like replaying things a lot!
If the upgrade is genuinely free, then the PS4 version is the better deal since it’s cheaper. Just make sure to confirm that the upgrade won’t cost you anything extra. Sometimes, they say there’s an upgrade option, but it might involve a fee.
From what I’ve seen, many Sony titles don’t come with a free upgrade. In the case of Ghost of Tsushima, it’s a paid upgrade, so definitely check that before you buy.
