Should I Get a PS5 If I'm Gaming on a 1080p Monitor?

I have an ASUS laptop with an RTX 4050 graphics card, and I’ve recently stepped away from competitive gaming. Now, I’m focused on grinding achievements on Steam, which I find a bit tedious. However, I really enjoy the straightforwardness and convenience of the PS5. Given that I own a 1080p 280Hz monitor, do you think it’s worth it to purchase a PS5?
