Should I Get a 750W or 850W PSU for My Upgrade?

-

I’m looking to upgrade my power supply. Right now, I have a 600W unit, but I’m uncertain whether to go for a 750W or an 850W. The 750W costs $95, and the 850W is priced at $150. My current setup includes a Ryzen 5 7500F, 32GB of RAM, and a 4060 GPU. I’m also planning to upgrade to either a 5070Ti or a 9070XT after I get the new PSU. Any thoughts on which wattage I should choose?

I always recommend opting for a bit more power than you think you’ll need. It gives you extra headroom for future upgrades like your GPU switch.

Is that 850W unit a small form factor PSU? It seems a bit high for your current setup. Just curious!

It’s actually in Canadian dollars, so that might explain the higher price.
