I really enjoyed playing GTA 5 and I’m curious if the older GTA games would give me a similar open-world experience with interesting quests. I also love games like Fallout 3 and New Vegas (not a fan of the building in Fallout 4 though), Mass Effect 1, and Hogwarts Legacy. Do you think I’d enjoy the classic GTA titles? I have an Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, so any recommendations would be appreciated!

Totally! The story in GTA 4 is fantastic, and it’s more or less in the same vein as GTA 5. You’ll probably enjoy it, even if you end up liking part of the series more than others.

Absolutely, if you don’t mind slightly older graphics, you should definitely try out GTA San Andreas. It’s a fantastic game with a huge world to explore!

I would recommend going through the other games as well. While the first two games are quite different, you’ll likely find the stories in San Andreas and Vice City really engaging. Plus, don’t sleep on Bully or Red Dead Redemption—those are worth checking out too!
