I’ve been considering whether it’s worth spending money on hero skins and scenery in Clash of Clans. With some cool upcoming hero skins that I really like, I’m tempted to buy the tiger mountain scenery and these skins. I usually spend a little on builder elixir when I feel it’s a small amount, but investing in skins and scenery feels like it could add some long-term enjoyment to the game. What do you all think about the new hero skins and spending money on a mobile game like this? Any advice?

I usually only buy skins through the gold pass. The last full set I bought was the dark ages theme and I still love it! If you like a new set, go ahead! And don’t forget to check for bonuses when buying from Supercell’s store.
I think scenery lasts longer without getting boring! If you love a skin, getting one set won’t hurt, especially if you actually enjoy using it.
Clash has brought me so much joy over the years! I believe in spending on things that make you happy as long as your budget allows.
Cosmetics are how Clash monetizes without making it a pay-to-win scenario. If you’re fine spending money on cosmetics, go for it!
Honestly, whatever you buy might get boring after a month. Focusing on real game progress might be a better use of your money.
That’s a fair point for sure!
The upcoming skins look promising! Spend if it makes you happy and fits your budget—totally worth it!
I love buying skins, especially if they’re visually distinct. This year’s skins look fantastic, but I prefer ones that stand out on screen. The challenge skins don’t really catch my eye, so I’ll skip this time.
Think of it like spending $60 on a nice perfume that runs out in a few months. Cosmetics are kind of the same—intangible but they stay in your game. If you like them, why not?
If you enjoy the game, spending money makes sense. I usually drop about $20 a month for the fun I get out of it. If the tiger scenery and skins make you happy, go for it! Just keep it reasonable based on your budget.
I’ve played this game for 12 years, so I’m okay with spending on it if it brings in new content! Just got to TH12 myself and I’m considering a change of scenery too.
Interesting perspective! I haven’t invested as much but I feel like a fresh look could be fun.
Buying cosmetics is great for supporting free-to-play players since it helps Supercell focus on cosmetics instead of pay-to-win features. If you like it, and can afford it, then go for it!
Didn’t know about that, thanks a lot!
