Hey everyone! I’m diving into the world of gaming laptops and my budget is around $3.5K. I’m torn between getting a laptop with the RTX 4090 right now or holding off to see the upcoming models with the RTX 5080 that will support DLSS 4. Currently, I’m looking at two options: the MSI Vector 16 HX A14VIG-282IT and the MSI Vector 16 HX AI A2XWIG-033IT. The one with the RTX 5080 comes with better RAM, while the RTX 4090 model seems to offer more power. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what I should do, or if you have any better alternatives in mind!

I’d steer clear of the MSI Vector series! Their build quality tends to be pretty subpar for high-end models. You might want to check out a Lenovo Legion with the 4090 instead. The 50 series is just way too pricey right now!
But don’t you think that with new games coming out, the 4090 might not cut it because it can’t use the new AI features?
