I’m thinking about whether it would be better for me to build a gaming PC or just buy a gaming laptop. I came across the Lenovo 16″ Legion Pro 7i, and it looks like a strong contender for a gaming laptop, but I’m open to suggestions if anyone knows of a better option. Price isn’t an issue—I just want to find the best choice here. Any advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, the only real advantage of a laptop is portability. If you don’t need to game on the go, building a PC will always give you more power and better specs for your money. It’s just more bang for your buck if you’re going to be playing at home.
Building a PC tends to give you way better performance for the same amount of money, so if you can swing it, that might be the better route. Plus, you can choose your components to fit your exact needs!
I asked an AI for thoughts, but I’m curious—can you tell me if the laptop I found is actually worth it? Here’s a pic of the specs I got! [link]
If you’re in the US, definitely check out Microcenter. They’ve got killer deals on bundles for motherboards, CPUs, and RAM that can save you a bunch. Building your own is almost always going to perform better than a gaming laptop at the same price.
Thanks for the tip! I’m in the US, so I’ll look into Microcenter.
Totally agree! I just want to come home and game on something that can handle B06 smoothly.
