I’ve been approached by a member of the dark brotherhood asking if I want to be turned into a vampire. I’m curious, but I’ve heard feeding can be a real hassle. Is it worth it to go through with this?

Weakness to fire can be a real bummer, considering a lot of enemies use fire spells. Just be ready for that aspect if you go for it.
Vampirism can be fun, especially if you enjoy roleplay. But it does come with challenges like breaking into houses to feed. Just keep in mind that if you decide to reverse it later, the quest involves a lot of running around and can be quite the hassle!
You can always try out vampirism and then do the cure quest later if you find it annoying. Just make sure to keep a backup save! You’ll need it if the feeding gets to be too much.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it on your first playthrough. The sun avoidance can be a real pain, and it might just end up being more trouble than it’s worth.
If you’re careful about feeding, the stat boosts can make it worthwhile. Just be aware that once you let your vampirism get out of control, it can really mess with your gameplay.
