I’ve already played most of the well-known survival games, so I’m on the lookout for some hidden gems. Does anyone have any underrated titles they can suggest? Any unique survival experiences would be awesome!

Check out Forever Skies and Survival: Fountain of Youth. Both offer a unique survival experience that’s different from the mainstream titles. Also, don’t forget to try Pacific Drive.
Have you considered UnReal World? It’s one of those survival heavy-weight titles that doesn’t always get the love it deserves. Perhaps give Outward a shot, too.
Some games not explicitly built as survival but with challenging survival modes include Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. Using survival settings, you’ll manage everything from food and water to radiation levels. There are even mods that intensify weather effects for more realism.
Project Zomboid should top your list if you haven’t tried it yet. It’s intense and addictive, and while you will face frequent deaths, it makes those survival successes much sweeter. Also, check out Zero Sievert for a STALKER-like vibe in 2D.
7 Days To Die might be both underrated and overrated, depending on who you ask. Its outdated graphics can throw you off, but the game mechanics are incredibly engaging and addictive.
Vintage Story and The Long Dark are both fantastic. The Long Dark is particularly gripping with its atmosphere, and Vintage Story is a must-try for anyone interested in survival crafting.
Card Survival: Tropical Island is an oddball in the survival genre but simulates survival in an almost brutal reality. It’s not about fighting zombies but battling hunger and loneliness. It’s a different yet captivating take.
