I’m on the hunt for a game with an overgrown, mossy medieval vibe. Ideally, it would have magic elements similar to Elden Ring but I’m not too concerned about difficulty, just the aesthetics. I would prefer it not to be turn-based, simply something that encapsulates the feel of an overgrown medieval world. Any suggestions?

A little off the beaten path but Tiny Glade could be what you’re looking for. It’s got those cozy and inviting landscapes with a classic overgrown ambiance.
Valheim might be an interesting choice for you. It’s more rooted in the bronze age era but it definitely has those overgrown ruins you’re talking about. While they might not be strictly medieval, it still brings that ancient, mystical feel. Also, Medieval Dynasty is quite literally medieval, though I haven’t explored enough to confirm its mossy-ness.
You might want to give Enshrouded a try. It captures a lot of that overgrown aesthetic you’re interested in, with a medieval spin.
You should check out The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. They have that lush, ancient ruins vibe you’re describing. Instead, if you’re looking for something with a bit of a different feel, Cult of the Lamb might be right up your alley. It also brings those eerie overgrown ruins to the forefront.
