I just upgraded my PC with a new 1000W PSU and now I’m trying to choose the best graphics card for gaming, especially for car simulators at 2K resolution. I’m considering two options within my budget: the ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7800 XT OG OC Edition 16GB priced at $780, or the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 OC Edition 12GB for $930. Which one should I go for?

Honestly, that price for the RTX 4070 is pretty insane! Instead of shelling out $930 for it, you might want to consider looking at the used market. The performance is quite similar between the RX 7800 XT and the RTX 4070, but saving that extra cash could be smart. Plus, DLSS 4 is a big selling point if you can handle it! Just keep an eye out for the deals!
Both cards are solid choices and perform similarly. Since you have that beefy 1000W PSU, heck, you could even run both if you wanted! But if you’re just gaming and don’t want to overspend, the RX 7800 XT might be your best bet since it’s cheaper and should suit your needs perfectly.
Thanks for the help! I think I’m leaning more towards the 7800 XT now.
