Hey everyone! So I’ve been having a frustrating issue with Roblox since the recent update. Every time I launch it, I get a white screen and then it closes immediately. I’m on Windows 10 using Firefox, but I’m not running the Windows Store version. I haven’t changed any settings or anything, which makes it even more puzzling.
Here’s the list of things I’ve tried to fix it:
1. Reinstalling the game.
2. Fully uninstalling and then reinstalling it again.
3. Unplugging and replugging all my USB devices (like my microphone, keyboard, headphones, mouse, etc. – no controllers involved).
4. Changing my DNS settings.
5. Making sure my graphics drivers are updated.
6. Clearing my browser cache.
7. Cleaning out my C: drive.
8. Removing old Roblox versions.
9. Restarting my computer.
10. Opening the Roblox player installer.
11. I even cleared my temp folder!
12. Closing Nvidia Shadowplay.
13. Adjusting settings in Nvidia’s 3D settings for Roblox.
14. Allowing Roblox through the firewall.
15. Repairing my C++ redistributables.
16. Deleting the Roblox player beta DLL and reinstalling.
17. Updating Chrome.
18. Trying to join a game through Chrome instead of Firefox.
19. Deleting the Roblox folder in appdata and reinstalling it.
20. Closing all background programs (Steam, Discord, etc.).

Hey! I totally feel your pain; I’ve been dealing with the same white screen and crash issue. It sounds like it could be a Roblox problem with the update rather than something wrong on our end, especially since we have a lot of the same troubleshooting strategies in common. Hang in there, hopefully they’ll push out a fix soon!
Ugh, I hate it when updates break stuff! I’m pretty sure it’s on Roblox’s end because I see a lot of people complaining about weird crashes lately. Just keep an eye on their official channels for any updates about fixes; they usually announce when there’s an issue.
For real! I’ve got a similar issue over here. My Roblox just runs in the background and won’t open properly. I think it’s related to that Hyperion anti-cheat they have. I submitted a ticket with my crash log, but who knows how long it’ll take to get a response. Just try not to stress too much; you’re not alone!
