Relaxing Mobile Games for New Parents with a Free Hand

-

Hey fellow gamers! I’ve just had a newborn, which means I’m often one-handed while holding the little one. I’m on the hunt for some chill and casual mobile games I can play with my free hand. Preferably, these games should have auto-save features because I’ve lost my progress in games like Stardew Valley when I couldn’t reach the save point. I’m open to any genre, so bring on your favorites! Thanks in advance for your suggestions—I’ll need something to keep me entertained during these long nights.

Try out my creation, Vrakys. It’s a character-building RPG that can be played in portrait mode. It’s free-to-play without pay-to-win mechanics. Battles are turn-based and optional, giving you flexibility as you manage the baby and gaming.

For something calming and puzzle-like, you can check out ‘Link All the Nodes.’ It’s a simple yet challenging puzzle game, perfect for playing one-handed. Also, there are no forced ads, so it remains really chill without any interruptions.

If you’re into word games, you should check out ‘Letterlike’. It’s super relaxing and perfect for those sleepless nights when your brain needs a bit of a workout. Plus, it’s really chill to play, especially in short bursts!

Magic Survival is another good option, although it seems not everyone can find it right away. It’s pretty chill and doesn’t require intense focus, which is ideal when you’re multi-tasking baby duties. If you can’t find it, ask around as someone might help out with the link.

I totally get where you’re coming from! When my baby was tiny, games kept me sane at night. You should try Magic the Gathering Forge. It’s a free card RPG that doesn’t require much interaction once you start playing. You’ll need to download the APK, though, but it should be fine if you’re into card games. Additionally, try out Mini Soccer, True Skate, and Pokemon TCG Pocket for some variety. Hope this helps!

You might enjoy choose-your-own-adventure games, they can be quite engaging. Try the Sorcery! series (1-4), which even lets you carry over your character with a code. ‘Knights of San Francisco’ is another great pick with awesome writing and art style. Just immerse yourself in these and you’ll find them quite fun with one hand!
