Hey everyone! I’m pretty new to tabletop RPGs and I’m looking to run a Wild West-themed story for a friend. I’m leaning more towards traditional Spaghetti Western vibes like those classic Clint Eastwood movies, rather than the more fantasy-oriented ‘weird west’ settings. I’ve checked out Deadlands, but it’s not quite what I’m after. Savage Worlds and GURPS seem a bit complicated for my current level too. Right now, Boot Hill and Dust Devils are on my radar. Does anyone have suggestions for simple Wild West RPGs? I’d love to hear thoughts on the ones I’m considering or any other recommendations. Just a heads-up, I’ve only played one RPG before, and it was pretty basic, so any help would be great!

Boot Hill is a solid choice if you want to stick to a more traditional Wild West experience. It’s relatively straightforward and not too bogged down with complex mechanics, which should suit your needs well.
