Hey everyone! I’m on the hunt for a new story-driven turn-based RPG to dive into. I recently enjoyed the combat system in “Infinite Wealth,” where the interactive elements like walking around and utilizing proximity bonuses made battles really engaging. Traditional turn-based systems, where characters just stay put like in Pokémon, tend to bore me. So, I’m curious if there are any other games out there with a similar interactive combat system that keeps things fresh. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

If you’re looking for something with a good narrative, “South Park: The Stick of Truth” is surprisingly engaging. While it has a different tone, its combat is fun and interactive!
You might prefer the sequel, “The Fractured But Whole,” though! It’s a bit more refined and fits the tactical elements nicely.
You might want to check out “Marvel’s Midnight Suns”! Even though I’m usually not a fan of turn-based combat, this game was fantastic. It combines strategy and character abilities in a way that keeps every encounter fun and dynamic. Plus, it has great storytelling!
Sounds interesting! I do love the Marvel universe, so I’ll definitely give it a shot!
Absolutely! It’s got that strategy depth with a lot of replays due to deck-building options. Don’t let the initial impressions fool you!
“Baldur’s Gate 3” is a solid choice! It’s a truly immersive RPG that incorporates a lot of positioning and tactical elements. You might find it just as engaging as Infinite Wealth, especially if you enjoy tactical combat.
100% agree! Also, if you’re feeling nostalgic, don’t forget about “Final Fantasy 9″—it has a classic charm!
Yeah, BG3 is a must-play! It’s rich in storytelling and has tons of strategic depth.
“X-Com 2” is amazing for turn-based strategy lovers! It features a really interactive environment where your movements can affect strategies, making it feel much more dynamic than typical RPGs.
Just wait until you miss a 95% shot—what a rollercoaster! But trust me, it’s an exhilarating experience.
“Final Fantasy X” is a classic turn-based RPG that still holds up well. Its battles are strategic and involve positioning, which you might enjoy!
Absolutely! The Sphere Grid system also adds another layer of strategy in character development.
I’m not a big turn-based RPG fan, but I genuinely enjoyed both of those! They have humor that makes combat easier to digest.
