Hey everyone! I’m pretty new to the game and wanted to get some advice because I’m figuring out a few things. Currently, I’m farming Obsidian Armor and I’ve got a couple of questions:
1) Is Convergence Mastery worth leveling up? I have all the Secrets of the Obscure unlocked except for Inner Nayos, and unlocking that would take a lot of achievements since I need 16 more mastery points. Any insights on how long this grind might take?
2) I’m struggling a bit with making gold efficiently. I’ve mostly earned gold through passive farming and the Wizard’s Vault. Now that I’ve crafted Twilight, I’m worried about the costs of Rift Motivations at 2.5 gold each. With only 700 gold, should I be spending on these motivations or saving for other materials instead?
3) Are Convergences really limited to 3 completions weekly in Public mode?
4) About Rift Weekly Achievements – can these actually be farmed daily, or are they genuinely weekly?
I’d also love any general tips since I’m still getting the hang of everything. Thanks for bearing with my long post and my English!

As of the Janthir Wilds update, there are indeed two convergences available with their own tracks, offering up to six bonus rewards weekly! It’s worth considering the private instance CM versions, especially the ones for Soto convergence—they seem more rewarding!
Regarding rift achievements, they reset weekly, and if you’re working on them, doing a Convergence first is a smart move. The 24-hour buff to rewards can make a big difference. But honestly, if you’re not in a rush, you might be able to skip rifts altogether unless a team invites you.
Hey! Convergence Mastery is definitely useful, especially for optimizing your rift essence farming. They’re super valuable for progress, so I’d say it’s worth the grind if you’re looking to enhance your gains over time.
As for Rift Motivations, avoid spending gold on them if you’re low on cash! The essences you get back just don’t stack up against the cost. Instead, focus on buying ectos—they’re much better investment for your goals.
Regarding Convergences, you can actually run them every 3 hours. After your first 3 runs, you won’t get the weeklies, and you skip the daily box after the first each day, but you can keep going. Just prioritize the ones that yield better rewards, like Soto.
About those weekly achievements, they’re indeed meant to be weekly. You might bump into some daily activities if groups are running them, but it’s a bit rare!
Oh, and don’t forget the daily Arcane chests—they’re awesome for rare gear!
Yeah, sticking with Soto seems to yield better results! For Arcane chests, keep an eye on map routes that gather a lot of them—there are addons like Blish HUD that can help track them down!
So, if I understand correctly, it’s better to do two Soto runs each day instead of mixing in a JW run, right? Also, any tips on how to efficiently loot those Arcane chests? I feel like I’m missing out on some good routes!
