Hey everyone! I haven’t used my Xbox in like two years, but I recently remembered that I own some games and wanted to check out the Play Anywhere feature. I tried to install No Man’s Sky, which I’ve had for ages from a retailer, but it’s not showing up in my PC app’s library or in the mobile app. I’m positive I didn’t get it through Game Pass and even weirder, it’s not in my purchase history either. I can see that the game is still installed on my Xbox. Some other games are showing up fine—like I was able to install Forza on my PC without any issues. Just to clarify, my console has always been digital. Any ideas on what might be happening? I did check the Play Anywhere game list online and logged into the same account, but still no sign of it on my PC Xbox app or Microsoft Store.

Make sure to double-check your order history on Xbox.com to confirm that No Man’s Sky is listed there. Sometimes games might not show up if they weren’t actually purchased through the Xbox store, even if you have the game installed on your console.
