Hey everyone, I’m having a weird issue with my PS5. For the last few months, whenever I play EA FC 25 for about an hour, my console just shuts off unexpectedly. After this happens, I have to unplug and replug the power supply to turn it back on, and I always get a message saying the PS5 wasn’t shut down properly. The strange part is that I can play the PS4 version for at least 10 hours without any problems. I’ve even tried cleaning the PS5 thoroughly, but that hasn’t helped at all. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like your power supply unit (PSU) might be overheating. Have you tried clearing out the dust from the PSU’s ventilation holes? That could help with airflow and keep it from shutting down. Just make sure to keep it clean!
It shouldn’t matter that your PS5 is plugged into a power strip. Just ensure it’s a good quality one that can handle the power. If you’re still having issues, it might be worth trying it on a wall outlet instead; sometimes that can help if the strip is overloaded or faulty.
I’ve already cleaned that out, but it hasn’t made a difference. Any other suggestions?
