Hey everyone, I’m having a persistent issue with my PS5 that’s driving me crazy. Every time I try to launch the console with my main account, it crashes and doesn’t load properly. I have a 2021 PS5 with a disc drive, and even though I’ve removed and reformatted an SSD I had, the problem still happens. I’ve tried booting it without any USB devices, switched HDMI cables, and gone through all the safe mode options, including resetting the console. What’s really odd is that it seems to be tied to just my account; when my friends log into it on their consoles, they experience the exact same crash issue. Sony’s support is closed for the weekend, so I’m hoping to get some suggestions from you all!

This might help! I had a similar issue with my external SSD. What worked for me was formatting the SSD from the console, booting into safe mode, and then restoring my licenses. I think since my SSD had old data from a previous PS5, it threw off the new one. Try that and see if it clears things up! Good luck!
I’ve been running into that same error ever since the last PS4 update. Honestly, I wish I had solutions for you, but so far it’s been a frustrating ride. Have you noticed if it’s happening more after an update?

Totally, I just updated my PS too, and it started crashing on me as well! It’s such a pain.
