Since yesterday, every time I launch Marvel Rivals, right after the anti-cheat loads, my screen goes black and then my PC just restarts with no error message or blue screen. This only happens with Marvel Rivals; no other games cause this issue. I’ve already tried verifying game files on Steam, reinstalling the game, and updating my drivers, but nothing has worked. Any ideas on what else I could try? This is really frustrating!

I’ve seen similar issues before where the problem was related to the anti-cheat system conflicting with certain hardware or software setups. Since you mentioned the crash happens right after the anti-cheat loads, it could be worth checking if your security software or any background apps might be interfering. Try disabling antivirus temporarily or doing a clean boot to see if that helps.
Another thing to consider is your power supply unit (PSU). Random restarts during game launch can sometimes signal PSU struggles, especially if the game spikes power demands suddenly. If you have another PSU handy or can check voltages, it might be worth testing. Also, double-check your GPU drivers are fully updated directly from the manufacturer’s website, not just through Windows or Steam.
Thanks for the tip! I hadn’t tried disabling antivirus yet. I’ll give a clean boot a shot and report back.
