I’m diving into the Pixel Remasters of Final Fantasy I-VI and I’m torn between using the original audio or the remastered version. What do you all think? Which soundtrack should I go for while playing?

The remastered soundtracks are fantastic, like, really fantastic! I did what you might consider doing: every time you enter a new area, switch between the two to keep things fresh. It makes for a great experience!
I’d say go remastered for the first three games, but stick to the originals for four through six. Just a personal choice, but I feel it suits the newer ones better!
For me, I usually stick with the original OST. It just feels more nostalgic and fits the vibe of the story. But hey, it’s all about your personal preference!
Honestly, I say go for both! Each version has its charm, and you can switch between them anytime. It adds a fun layer to the gameplay.
If you’re all about nostalgia, you’ll likely want the original for IV-VI. But honestly, the remasters are also awesome, especially since you can easily switch back and forth while playing! It’s worth giving both a shot and seeing which one you vibe with more.
Yeah, they did! It had a different arrangement that some people really loved!
Did the DS/PSP versions have different audio? I’m curious if that would change anything!
