Hey everyone! I’m on the hunt for my first headset and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. I have a budget of around 100€ and I’m specifically looking for something with great 3D audio and a solid microphone. Here’s what I’m considering so far:
1. **Steelseries Nova 5P**: Looks great but I’m worried about not being able to use it wired. Is that a big deal?
2. **Pulse 3D**: Excited about how well it integrates with the PS5, but I’ve heard complaints about comfort and mic quality. What do you all think?
3. **Steelseries Nova 7P**: It addresses the wired issue but is a bit pricier and needs a PC for adjustments.
4. **Pulse Elite**: Also more expensive and I’ve read it has a lot of disconnection issues.
Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

In my experience, the Pulse 3D headsets are awesome. I’ve been using mine for years without any problems. Just one tip: the standard cushions aren’t that comfy, so consider getting some aftermarket cushions for better comfort. The sound is great and the mic works well for multiplayer games too!
I’d steer clear of those cheaper brands like Turtle Beach. Look for something that can update wirelessly without needing a connection to a PC. I personally use Soundcore headphones which connect via Bluetooth and they sound fantastic. Just keep in mind that I don’t have a mic, but they do offer models with one. The noise canceling is really impressive, and I think it’s better to avoid headsets made specifically for consoles since they often require constant updates.
Thanks for the tip! I actually found these wicked cushions that seem pretty popular. I’m thinking of pairing them with the Pulse 3D. Is the mic quality decent for chatting with friends during games?
