Hey everyone! I recently picked up Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed because I loved it as a kid, but I’m having some trouble getting it to run. Whenever I try to launch the game, the screen goes white and then it closes. I’ve already tried setting compatibility modes to Windows 7 and 8, and even deleted the install script, but nothing seems to work. I’m on Windows 11, so if anyone has any tips or solutions, I’d really appreciate your help!

If you’re still having issues, it’s worth searching for more detailed fixes on forums or even on YouTube. Sometimes there are specific tweaks that others have found useful for this game on Windows. Just make sure to check if it’s been updated for compatibility with Windows 11.
Honestly, if you’ve tried all the compatibility modes and it still crashes, it might be best to try running it on a Steam Deck if you have access. People say it works beautifully there!
It sounds like a Windows-specific issue because the game seems to run fine on Linux. Have you checked if it’s a compatibility problem? Sometimes older games just don’t play nicely with new versions of Windows. You might want to try running it in a 16:9 resolution instead of ultrawide, as that can also cause crashes. Give that a shot and see if it helps!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll adjust the resolution and see if that fixes it.
