I’m really struggling to find coal for my daily challenge. I’ve searched for over an hour and looked online multiple times, but I can’t seem to locate any. I really just need five pieces of coal to complete it. Can someone please invite me to their world and show me where to get it? I’m feeling pretty frustrated!

You might want to check out Kerwood Mine in Cranberry Bog. It’s another solid spot for coal. Also, if you have coal in your stash or junk scrap box, pulling from there works too! Just make sure you’re grabbing the right type.
Don’t forget you can reroll your daily challenge! You get a free one every day, and if you’re a Fallout 1st subscriber, you even get two. Might save you some hassle if this coal quest is driving you nuts!
If you’re not in-game right now, one option is to check your stash. If you’ve got any coal stored there, you can just pull it out to finish the challenge. But if you’re looking to mine some, try visiting Gauley Mine in the Forest. It’s usually packed with coal deposits and should be instanced for everyone, so you should find what you need without hassle.
