Hey everyone! I’m a returning player to Guild Wars 2 after taking a two-year break and I’m trying to figure out which class to main. I’ve played for six years and have all classes at level 80 with multiple specs that I enjoy. Right now, I’m looking at three classes that have caught my interest: 1) Ranger – I love the look of the condition build with axe and torch. However, I’ve noticed on Snowcrow that its damage seems a bit low compared to other specs. Can anyone tell me if it’s viable in raids, T4 fractals, or CM strikes? I’m considering a power Soulbeast or condition Druid. 2) Necro – This used to be my main, and I’m quite comfortable with it, but I’m thinking of trying something new. 3) Mesmer – I adore the class, especially the Chronomancer. It’s impressive when perfected, but I feel like my damage output was lacking last time I played—like 9-15k DPS behind others. I’m currently leaning towards Mesmer Chronomancer as my top choice. I’d love to hear some advice or insights on these classes! Thanks for your help! Oh, and apologies for my English; I’m French!

Hey! Just a heads-up, pretty much everyone you’ll play with won’t hit those high numbers you see on the benchmarks right away. It’s really about practice! Those benchmarks are great, but they’re under ideal conditions that most players will never reach. Any build you find on Snowcrow is good for endgame PvE. As long as you learn your rotation and execute it well, you’ll do better than most players!
Thanks for your input! What are your thoughts on the specific classes I mentioned? I’d love to hear more perspectives!
