Hey everyone! I’m in the market for a new laptop and my budget is between 1000 to 1500 euros. I’m looking for something that can handle gaming, as well as creative applications like Photoshop and Illustrator, and I also want to do some 3D modeling and rendering with Blender. Here are the options I’m currently considering:
– **MSI Katana 15**: Intel Core i7-13620H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, 16GB RAM
– **Asus TUF Gaming A16**: AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, 16GB RAM
– **Dell G16**: Intel Core i7-13650hx, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, 32GB RAM (this one’s a bit over budget, but if it’s significantly better, I might get it)
– **Asus TUF Gaming A14**: AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050, 16GB RAM
Which of these would you recommend as the best option? Also, feel free to suggest any other laptops within or just over my budget. Weight and size aren’t huge factors for me, but a lighter or more compact laptop would be a bonus. Thanks a lot!

I recommend skipping the TUF A16 due to poor color accuracy and probably the A14 too unless someone has different feedback. Out of those, I’d go with the Dell G16 since it has 32GB of RAM, which will be a big help for your creative tasks. You could also find some deals for the A14 if you search around; for example, a German site has it with 32GB for €1,600.
If you’re not in a rush, it might be worth waiting for the RTX 50 series laptops coming out in March. Prices should drop after that. Meanwhile, look into the Lenovo Legion series; they usually offer better build quality and screens for the price. I’m eyeing the Legion Slim 5 for about €1,200 to €1,300, so there might be some good options in that range for you too!
With your budget, you should definitely look for something with at least an i7 from the 14th generation and an RTX 4070 if you can swing it. The Lenovo LoQ is worth considering—I’ve heard great things about it! The build quality is solid, and it’s good for gaming and creative work. Just make sure to check it out before making a decision!
I haven’t checked out the Lenovo LoQ yet. What makes it stand out compared to the ones I mentioned?
