I just found my PS3 after a while and I’m trying to buy a game, but I keep running into issues. It tells me I need to use wallet funds, but whenever I try to add money, I get an error. I’ve tried several times, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone guide me on how to buy games on my PS3?

You can add funds to your PSN wallet using a PS4, PS5, or the PS App. Once you’ve got funds in there, you can buy games directly from the PS3 Store. Alternatively, you can always purchase physical PS3 discs if that’s easier for you.
I was hesitant to buy from the app too because I was worried about getting the PS4/5 version instead of the PS3 one. Always better to double-check before spending, right?
