Hey everyone! I could really use some support here. So, my PC got unplugged while I was gaming, and since then, it’s been bootlooping like crazy. I’ve spent days trying to figure it out by watching tutorials. I tried a system restore, but since I didn’t back anything up, that didn’t work out for me. I also couldn’t get into Safe Mode. Eventually, I managed to get to the login screen, but it said ‘unknown user’ when I entered my password. After struggling for over 5 hours, I got frustrated and restarted my PC a few times with the reset button when it was off. The next morning, I turned it on, and while the fans are running and the lights are on, both monitors just say ‘no signal.’ I checked the cables, they’re all fine. I even pulled the CMOS battery out but still got nothing. I’m on the verge of giving up, and before I take it to Micro Center or Best Buy, I thought I’d check here. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Sounds like you’re really in a tough spot! Since your fans are running but you’re still getting no signal, I’d recommend reseating your GPU and RAM. Sometimes just pulling them out and putting them back in can fix the issue. Also, try booting with just one stick of RAM and disconnect any non-essential peripherals. It’s worth trying a different HDMI or display port cable too, just to rule that out. And about that CMOS battery, when you pulled it, leave it out for a few minutes and hold the power button to fully discharge the motherboard before putting it back. If none of that works, it might be a GPU or motherboard issue. If you’re still stuck, heading to Micro Center might be your best option. Keep us updated on how it goes!

Dude, you might just have saved me a ton of headache! I pulled out the GPU and two sticks of RAM, put them back, and it actually worked. Thanks a million!
