I built my PC a couple of months ago, and it was running fine at first. However, lately, I’ve been experiencing random crashes while gaming. For instance, while playing Throne and Liberty, I receive the error “An Unreal Process has crashed: U4,” and the same issue happens with Fortnite and Path of Exile 2. I’m concerned that there might be compatibility issues with my hardware. My English isn’t perfect, so I’m happy to clarify if needed.
Here are my specs:
– **OS**: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
– **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (45 °C)
– **RAM**: 64GB Dual-Channel (showing as unknown @ 1796MHz) – I have two ADATA XPG Lancer Blade Black DIMM Kits of 32GB each, DDR5-6000, CL30-40-40, but I can’t enable the EXPO option in BIOS because my PC won’t boot.
– **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX
– **Graphics Card**: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and others
– **Storage**: Multiple SSDs totaling 1863GB each from different brands
– **Power Supply**: 1200W be quiet! Pure Power 12 M Modular 80+ Gold.
Thanks in advance for any help!

It sounds like your RAM could be the culprit, especially since it’s running at 1796 MHz when it should be faster. I’d suggest looking into getting higher-speed RAM that’s compatible with your motherboard. If you can enable EXPO, that could help a lot with performance too. It’s worth checking if your motherboard BIOS is up to date, as that might fix compatibility issues!
Yeah, upgrading the RAM will likely help you avoid crashes. More speed can make a significant difference!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check the BIOS update and consider getting better RAM.
