Hey everyone! I’m really enjoying the remaster of the game, but I’m facing some serious performance issues. It keeps crashing, and it feels like I’m watching a stream in 720p instead of actually playing. My PC is a bit outdated, with my last upgrade being about five years ago. I mostly play older games, so I’ve only just begun to notice I’m behind on hardware.
I have 32 GB of RAM, a GTX 1660 Super, and a Ryzen 5 3600X. Is there anything specific I can tweak in the settings or any early mods that might help? Also, should I hold out hope for a driver update to improve things?
Lastly, do you think just upgrading my GPU could get me to a decent 60 FPS at 1440p, or should I consider a more extensive overhaul of my system? Thanks for any tips you may have!

You might want to check out some performance mods on Nexus; they can really help with optimization. If you’ve got the budget, upgrading your PC could definitely boost your experience! It sounds like you can afford to invest in some upgrades, which might be worth it since you love gaming!
Haha, if by ‘investing’ you mean I love to spend my hard-earned cash, you’re spot on! I had promised myself a new build for TES VI, but that feels like ages away. This seems like an excellent loophole!
